This program allows local businesses and members of the community to participate in raising funds for the animals in their community. It is a simple program that does not take much time to implement and there is no cost to you.

It involves some space on your wall to display the paper bones purchased by the public in support of the SPCA, as well as the collection of the funds donated. The bones are a dollar each and the donor can fill out their name or their pet’s name on the front of the “Bone” shaped paper.

In recognition of your support your business name will be displayed on our website during the campaign and for 6 months after the event.

The program is to run for the month of March and the store or business that has raised the most funds by the end of the campaign will be rewarded with a plaque for their location. The plaque is to be displayed at the winning location to show recognition to their staff and customers for their support of the animals at the Brant County SPCA. We would also like to have a staff photo from the winning location to place on our website as a thank you for their support of the Brant County SPCA’s Buck Bone Campaign 2006.

As a follow up from this letter, a volunteer of the Brant County SPCA will contact you. If you choose to participate in this program you will be given an envelope with 50-buck bones to start off with and the volunteer will be in contact with you on a regular basis to see if you are in need of additional supplies and collection of funds.

I thank you in advance for your participation with this event. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact the Brant County SPCA at 519-756-6620.

Yours truly,

Robin Kuchma
